This flank steak recipe uses bold flavors instead of fat to result in a delicious steak that’s low-calorie.

Flank Steak

4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Directions

Cut the flank steak into 4 individual steaks. Combine the lime juice, garlic and cilantro leaves to make the marinate. Pour it into a zip-lock bag and add the steaks. Marinate for 1 hour in the fridge.

Remove the steaks from the marinade, add salt and pepper and grill 5-7 minutes on each side.

Slice thinly against the grain and serve.
